Associate – Real Estate Finance Attorney
Dallas, TX

Our client, a top national law firm, is seeking a highly-qualified and motivated Associate to join their Real Estate Finance group in Dallas.

Candidate Profile:

  • JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
  • Bar Admission in Texas.
  • 4-6 years of substantive real estate finance experience, including the preparation and negotiation of loan documents and handling due diligence for real estate loan closings.
  • Experience with recapitalizations, joint ventures, and related corporate and financial transactions.
  • Proven experience working with CMBS lenders, special and master servicers, commercial banks, insurers, and private lenders.
  • AmLaw 200 experience preferred.
  • Proficient at complex legal drafting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in real estate financing, acquisitions, and dispositions across various asset types, including retail, industrial, multifamily, healthcare, and hospitality.
  • Prepare and negotiate loan documents, review due diligence materials, and provide strategic legal counsel on transactions.
  • Collaborate with a team of experienced attorneys on complex real estate finance matters.
