The career path for the position could grow into a Operations Manager or Production Manager, if that is of interest. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:

  • Focusing on product quality
  • Communicating with coworkers, customers and vendors
  • Taking the lead on the Quality Control Plan
  • Utilizing and working through corrective action plans
  • Ensuring clear specifications
  • Working with the PPAP administrator
  • Working on statistical control projects
  • Supporting the quality lab employees and the machinists

 

The background of the successful candidate will include the following:

  • A two-year engineering degree
  • Four or more years of quality engineering experience
  • One or more years of PFMEA experience
  • One or more years in a machining environment
  • Three or more years of metrology experience
  • Three or more years of gage experience
  • One or more years of statistical engineering tool experience
  • Possess a solid work history
  • Being a US citizen or green card holder
  • Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
