One of the largest civil contractors in the world. A leader in the Heavy Civil, and Site Development area. Have an immediate need  for a Project Superintendent in Orlando , Fla – FDOT- Heavy Civil Roadway/Highway projects.

Job Description:    

·        Manage and schedule foremen and subcontractors

·        Assist estimators and engineers with quantities and productions

·        Develop and maintain positive client relations (owner, clients, consultants, public)

·        Coach, supervise and train foreman and field employees on the project site(s)

·        Establish performance and production goals for project teams        

·        Confer with management and engineers, inspectors and suppliers to resolve construction problems and improve construction methods

·        Manage all the construction activities of the project in accordance with contract specifications and drawings and in full compliance with applicable safety and environmental regulations

·        Execute construction activities in compliance with the applicable schedule and budget

·        Review project performance on a continuing basis and recommend to project manager corrective actions as needed

·        Implement the Company policies and procedures

·        Assist with On-the-Job Training

Job Requirements:

  • At least 3-10+ years previous recent heavy highway, road, construction experience
  • Medium to large heavy highway, road project experience ($20M+) is required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to include strong verbal and written communication

Must be able to think independently and solve problems effectively OSHA Competent person certification
