Manufacturing Manager 

• Local plastics manufacturer recently expanded operations and is hiring for a Manufacturing Manager role
• The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing operations including managing, planning, directing, and coordinating the work activities and resources necessary for extrusion manufacturing, maintenance, and quality
• Company has been in business for 38 years and in process of doubling in size and is looking for a talented manager to oversee the printing department. 
• They are very employee centric organization that focuses on the employees successes and big believers in continuous improvement and upper ward mobility

Responsibilities:

• Directly supervise and manage 70 employees across several departments
• Strategic involvement with leading continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, and similar principles
• Establish a culture of engagement and set the strategic direction for the team.
• Monitor, exceed, and maintain production standards for efficiencies, material waste and quality.
• Ensure employee productivity, facility safety, and maintenance activities while working in conjunction with other managers and supervisors

Requirements:

• BA/BS/AAS degree or an equivalent of 5+ years manufacturing leadership experience
• 5+ years of leadership experience working in a manufacturing environment; open to an industry  
• Six-Sigma Green / Black / Lean training and or certifications is preferred with experience leading, driving and implementing change management
• Analytical and able to use the numbers to help coach, teach and develop employees
•  Must be capable of problem solving, multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment
