Construction Site Superintendent
Somerville, NJ

We are currently seeking at Site Superintendent for a full-time direct hire position with our construction client in Somerville, NJ. 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent in medical construction with ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment) experience highly preferred.

The Site Superintendent will oversee day-to-day field operations on projects ranging from medical offices and outpatient centers to ground-up multifamily residential buildings. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, a hands-on approach, and a proven track record managing active construction sites safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

● Manage on-site construction activities from start to finish

● Supervise subcontractors, labor, and vendors to ensure performance meets plans and specs

● Maintain and enforce job site safety protocols and OSHA compliance

● Coordinate inspections, resolve field issues, and communicate with all stakeholders

● Keep accurate site documentation including daily reports and photo logs

● Lead weekly subcontractor and coordination meetings

● Support quality control efforts and proactively manage punchlist items

Qualifications:

● 5+ years of experience as a Site Superintendent in medical, residential, or ground-up commercial construction

● Deep understanding of construction means and methods, building codes, and sequencing

● Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings

● Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills

● Previous experience with ICRA (Infection Control Risk Assessment) (preferred)

● Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project, or other construction software (preferred)

● OSHA 30 certification (preferred)

● Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation
