Responsibilities:
- Engage the leadership team and Tooling departments to integrate all processes and build a high-performance team. Develop and execute a clear road map to show how the Tooling team will align and achieve the targets considered in the Full Potential and MOS strategies. Provides governance over the maintenance & tooling department to ensure compliance with all related environmental, health, financial, and employment laws as well as Corporate Policy, Standards, and Procedures.
- Assisting plants and programs in managing related capital and operating costs, P&L of maintenance, and tooling departments in all plants. Coaching tool maintenance department staff in collaboration with the plant leadership team and other business partners.
- Lead through coaching and assisting local plants develop the strategies and efforts toward achieving the operational benchmark KPIs.
- Develop regional /global synergies through developing a regional team with high connectivity and flexibility in the USA and other regions by developing local summits and attending global summits on tool/maintenance systems.
- Continuous improvement in operational efficiency is reflected in a permanent cost reduction environment through best practices implementation.
- Help region exceeds customer expectations in quality, delivery, service, and launching projects, collaborating with SBUs throughout the process to win and implement new business.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or associated field, and/or 15 years of experience-
- Min 2 years technical and journeyman
- Multicultural awareness and 5 years in a global corporate setting.
Experience
- Expertise in Toyota Production System (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma) budget management, strong understanding of financial metrics, and proficiency with statistical analysis tools and processes.
- Proven operational experience in the automotive industry or related transportation Metal-Mechanical Production Technology and subject matter expertise in production management, process engineering, preventative maintenance, safety, and continuous improvement.
- 2 years in senior operations roles.
- Strong people leadership, communication (written and oral), and negotiation skills
- Professional experience and track record of minimum 10 years across roles in operations management within the automotive industry.
- Experience with Automotive OEM or a significant global Tier 1 supplier in advanced metal forming or processing.
- Management of Large-scale Facility – P&L responsibility Increased profitability
- Experienced in deploying a practice, training in a tool or methodology, leading problem-solving, or other applied leadership experience that would support Our Client’s Operating System.
