The Technical Trainer – Industrial Calibration Products is directly responsible for supporting both pre and post-sales operations. Day-to-day activities include client training, & technical support. This role will be remote, work from home, but requires travel averaging 50%.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Pre-Sales (25%):
- Supporting sales representatives and personnel including system configuration & proposal writing.
- Training of sales representatives and personnel.
- Instrumentation research/training (learning about different types of trimming or calibration for smart instruments, unique instruments, etc.)
- Supporting Marketing Actions i.e. White/Technical Paper writing.
- Any type of new research and reporting to help develop company (flow research as an example)
- After Sales (75%):
- Training of customers both online and in-person
- Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk support
- Project Management
- Any other duties as directed by the Technical Director or President
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from a four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Calibration knowledge of Pressure, Electrical, and Temperature instruments for Process Industries (Pharma, Power & Energy, Oil & Gas, etc..).
- Calibration Software knowledge namely ProCal, Emerson AMS, Blue Mountain, Compucal, Cornerstone, Maximo, etc..) is a plus.
- List & Label or Crystal Reports Software Application experience
- A high level of interpersonal skills is essential to this role. The incumbent will also need to demonstrate a passion for technology and enjoy working within the core market sectors of Oil and Gas, Petro-Chemical, Energy, Food and Beverage, and Pharmaceutical processing.
- High-level networking should be supported by the ability to operate at lower levels including work with smaller customers and individual engineers on a daily basis.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
