Primary IT environment:

• Microsoft 365 / Azure + WatchGuard Firewalls networking

Skillset Requirements

• Core system is Microsoft 365 + Azure-based VMs + Exchange Online
• Core network is WatchGuard-based Firewalls and WIFI systems

Required

• Minimum of 5 years: hands-on Microsoft Office 365 + Azure services & VMs + SharePoint + Exchange Online
• Minimum of 5 years: hands-on wide area network experience (multiple locations in US or Intl)
• Minimum of 5 years: hands-on WatchGuard Firebox VPN/Firewall

Required Experience on (equipment / concepts)

• Microsoft 365 cloud
• Comprehensive knowledge of TCP/IP, SMTP, MAPI, DNS and network infrastructure (i.e., cabling, patch panels, racks)
• Experience in dealing with ISPs (Internet Service Providers) & phone companies
• Understanding of Microsoft Azure / Windows Active directory & server infrastructure architecture
• Microsoft Office latest version
• HP or comparable blade servers, chassis, SANs, tape drives
• Cisco switches, routers, LAN/WAN equipment setup Web servers (i.e., Microsoft IIS)
• PCs and LANs/Ethernet
• Network monitoring
• Network optimization

Required Certification

• Active MCSE or new Azure Admin certification

Preferred Education

• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a computer related discipline
