Job Title: Superintendent / Project Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Superintendent to oversee construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale projects and coordinating with subcontractors, engineers, and project stakeholders. The Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients.  We have consistent work to follow after this major 14 month project.  Seeking a candidate with experience managing civil related project in water and sewer construction.  Underground experience is highly preferred. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a Superintendent on specific projects, managing projects from start to finish with assistance depending on size and scope.

• Build project schedules with Microsoft Project or similar software.

• Cost load schedules to project monthly sales.

• Monitor job costs to prevent overruns.

• Manage and coordinate subcontractors.

• Review, submit, distribute, and track shop drawings, submittals, and RFI’s.

• Create agendas and host weekly or as-needed progress meetings with subcontractors and Engineers.

• Manage all correspondence between LDS, Owners, and Engineers.

• Create Pay applications.

• Closeout jobs with required documents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field.

• 10+ years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction industry.

• Strong project management and organizational skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Knowledge of construction safety standards and procedures.

• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
