We’re looking for an experienced retail Store Team Leader for this great team.

The Store Team Leader is responsible for the location’s overall customer and sales department culture. Has responsibility for sales performance management and discovering sales leads. To meet sales, service, and operating performance targets create overall store plans and strategies. Focusing on essential business efforts to ensure optimum profits and sales. The person in this position will lead, encourage, and empower associates to build a customer atmosphere that fosters customer loyalty, strong connections, and brand recognition and devotion. The Store Team Leader will:

  • Oversee the daily operations include hiring and training the sales team members, managing communication from owners and leaders to the team.
  • Support processes and efficient use of training tools, good commerce practices.
  • Build and maintains a healthy team culture.
  • Maintain a collaborative team effort, engaging the best skills of each member on the team.
  • Maintain standards of exceptional customer service and celebrate team progress using focused efforts that provide for the best possible outcomes for our customers.
  • Plan, execute and oversee sales and promotional activities effectively.

The Store Team Leader will undertake the following duties alone or in collaboration with owners, leaders, and the sales department:

  • Team Building: Build a performing sales team through effective recruitment, orientation, training, development, motivation, and coaching.
  • Recruiting and Onboarding: Plans and directs the hiring and training of new Sales Team members to ensure confidence and commitment to sales goals.
  • Provide Effective Commerce: Ability to hold all team members accountable for good commerce of activities in the store and providing and exceptional customer experience in on-site and digital communications.
  • Scheduling: Maintaining an efficient staffing schedule and ensuring business needs are met while team members are making the most of their work time and efforts
  • Product Expertise: Develop a thorough knowledge of all products and services within the first year of employment and be able to align the sales team with reliable knowledge.
  • Merchandising: Facilitate accountability of all team members to ensure in-store presentation standards are maintained to company standards including housekeeping, merchandising, signage, and maintenance of sales tock and common areas.
  • Customer Service: Providing positive and effective resolution customer and team member concerns as the first point of escalation. Handling and resolving customer issues.
  • Team Communication: Accountable to ensure communication from owners are fully provided to all team, fully understood and immediately implemented.
  • Company Health: Providing the leadership to align the team with company standards while upholding a healthy and growing culture of engagement and opportunity for customers and team
  • Asset Protection: Accountable for protection of company assets, financial systems, resources, time and reputation by following established processes and procedures and efficient time management.
  • Sales Leadership: Directing and coordinating all sales activities from the company and vendors. Tracking and analyzing sales and performance statistics based on key metrics, providing the Sales Team with plans and coordinates for meeting goals.
  • Company Development: Advising leaders and holding Team Members accountable on policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
  • Experience managing the sales process and forecasting of sales.
  • Ability to design and implement a successful sales strategy.
  • Ability to guide and mentor sales team members.
  • Well defined and clear planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced time management skills.
  • Strong technology skills and willingness to learn from well-established tech practices.


This position is Full-Time, Non-Exempt.  A competitive annual compensation and bonus structure will be based on experience and performance within the first 6 months of employment.
