High volume automotive supplier in Smyrna, TN has immediate opening for a Senior Production Supervisor. This position reports to the Production Manager and will involve leading Production Supervisors as well as overseeing improvement projects to increase efficiency and output. There will also be a strong focus on training and development of Supervisors.
 
Qualified candidates MUST HAVE a BS degree along with at least 10 years manufacturing experience. Must also have strong supervisory skills. Ideal candidate will drive change needed to improve production operations. Knowledge of problem solving tools like 5 Why and 8D is a plus. 
 
This role has long term career growth potential. Ideal candidate should have the desire to eventually move into a Production Manager role. This plant is part of a major automotive supplier with manufacturing plants across the globe.
