Location: Penn Yan, NY (Finger Lakes Region of New York State)

This individual must demonstrate good communication skills both verbal and written, good judgment, flexibility, accountability, and acknowledge the standards of productivity set by the department.
Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the people in a professional and courteous manner.
Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills.
Computer literacy.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
Master’s degree in Mental Health or Social Work.
LMSW, LCSW (preferred), or New York State Mental Health Counselor License. Employees are required to complete BLS certification and CPI Training within 90 days of hire.
One year of experience in a mental health or hospital setting.

Penn Yan is an incorporated village in Yates County, New York. It is the county seat of Yates County and lies at the north end of the east branch of Keuka Lake, and just west of Seneca Lake. This area is known as the Finger Lakes, also known as wine country. This is a wonderful place to be in the summer. Not far you can find all kinds of shopping, outdoor sports, waterfalls, hiking, and parks.  Located in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York State. Close to many colleges and universities, wineries, arts, culture, shopping and a nature lovers paradise. Close to the world famous Mirbeau Inn and Luxury Spa for relaxation.
