Senior Structural Engineer 

This is full-time a position that requires face-to-face interactions in the office daily and periodic travel to job sites.

Ideal Candidate:

• ·       Has potentially worked for a fabricator, construction company, etc.
•      Real world practical experience ranging from early conception, analysis, design, fabrication, erection, solutions to field discovered problems, retrofitting existing structures, etc.
• ·       Some heavy industrial consulting is acceptable.
• ·       The ability to work with and communicate with blue collar field crews as well as white collar consultants and engineers.

Requirements:

• ·       PE license required in at least (1) state – any state, with the ability to add more state licenses.
• ·       Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) required.
• ·       6+ years of Structural Engineering experience.
• ·       Concentration in heavy industrial structures with no more than 20% in commercial.
• ·       Typical industries served are power plants, paper mills, and refineries.
• ·       Finite Element Analysis experience required.
• ·       RISA experience is beneficial.
• ·       Basic AutoCAD experience.
• ·       Some travel required, no more than (2-6) trips per year, each trip being about (2-3) nights away.
• ·       Ability to obtain field measurements, climb ladders, stairs, and elevated platforms.
• ·       US Citizenship required.
• ·       Clear communication skills in English.
