Senior SolidWorks and AutoCAD Mechanical Engineering Designer
- Five years of mechanical engineering design experience for sheet metal or for large components is required
- An engineering degree, two years of SolidWorks experience and two years of AutoCAD experience are also required
- Hours are 6 am to 4 pm Monday through Thursday and a half day on Friday
- Pay is $60,000 to $76,000
- Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder

This stable, established yet growing fabrication company is looking to hire a full time, permanent Senior SolidWorks and AutoCAD Mechanical Engineering Designer. Almost all manufacturing is done in-house. Safety is a priority and the company has a family feel. The company cares about the careers of its employees and supports employee career growth. The company has many company events for employees. The engineering department utilizes AutoCAD, AutoCAD Lite, SolidWorks for design and JobBOSS for the ERP software. MasterCAM is used for CNC programming.
The successful candidate’s duties and responsibilities will encompass the following:
- Utilizing SolidWorks and AutoCAD
- Creating unique designs for massive, complex products
- Evaluating costs and manufacturability
The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered:
- An engineering degree
- Five years of mechanical engineering design experience for sheet metal or for large components
- Two years of SolidWorks experience
- Two years of AutoCAD experience
- Possess a solid work history
- Being a US citizen or green card holder
- Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
