We are recruiting for a Network Engineer for our Healthcare Client in New York City (10017). This would be a Full-Time (Direct Hire) position, On-site, with the opportunity to grow and lead a team. 8+ years of diverse work experience in IT with a minimum of 6+ years experience in Network Engineering and Cisco CCNP certification preferred.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline preferred. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may substitute.
  • Prior experience working on Network Segmentation Projects
  • Cisco CCNP Certification
  • 6+ years of experience in implementing and supporting network infrastructure for large enterprise networks including data centers (Healthcare industry experience a plus)
  • Prior experience implementing Network Segmentation
  • Hands on Experience with implementation and administration of Network Access Control Solutions such as Cisco ISE
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus and Catalyst Series switches
Responsibilities:
  • Perform software upgrades on Cisco switches and routers
  • Perform hardware upgrades to legacy network devices
  • Modify network equipment configurations based on project requirements
  • Assist with the resolution of issues and actively participate in problem management activities
  • Works closely with clients, vendors and project teams to determine support requirements and provides a resolution within defined standards.
  • Will mentor other Network Engineers.
