*Local Chicago area candidates only at this time (location is downtown Chicago).

Senior Health and Safety Scientist will be responsible for working on projects related to the assessment of employee exposures and evaluation of EHS compliance issues at industrial and commercial sites.  This position will also take a leadership role by helping in the building the department and coaching / mentoring new team members.    

Position reports directly into the Safety and Health Principal.  Nationwide travel up to 50% when needed to support client needs. 

Requirements include a strong academic a background, (5) years of safety and health consulting experience along with technical degrees and CIH or CSP certification. 

Ideal candidate will bring consulting experience, technical skills, leadership ability and training skills.
