About the Role:
As the Senior Director of Recruiting you will be a strong contributor the leadership team and
develop/drive the recruiting strategy. You will lead a team of Recruiters, Sourcers, Coordinators and
deploy tools and external resources to find quality talent to enter the AOT Program. This unique role is
responsible for identifying talent AND helping the candidate make an informed business decision to
become an independent operator. Listening and questioning skills are essential. You will work closely
with the Field Training teams to ensure prequalification’s and competencies are met for all new
candidates. You are a creative thinker who has experience with creating processes from scratch in a start-up
like environment. The Senior Director of Recruiting will report to the Vice-President, Stores
.

Responsibilities Include:
• Strong contributor to the Leadership team
• Strategic planning and oversight for the function and leading the recruiting team to
generate leads, assess talent, and recruit for today and evolve as we grow and scale.
• Leverage data to design and implement a recruiting strategy that aligns with company growth
plans
• Set recruiting targets to match our geographic and timing needs for store openings and
transitions of existing stores.
• Work closely with the Real Estate, Construction and New Stores team to align on timing for store
openings
• Support selection process of the best for store openings
• Manage the team budget for training fees and marketing costs
• Direct lead generation strategy and efforts to bring in appropriate talent
• Support development of internal talent
• Provide weekly 1:1 guidance, direction, and development to team members in all geographic
locations (Currently in Northern CA, Southern CA, and Wayne, Pennsylvania) and support each
team member to achieve their results
• Collaborate with the training and transition team to ensure successful launches of new
Operators’ careers

 
About You:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 10+ years recruiting and leading recruiting efforts for customer-facing business leaders with 5+
years being in grocery, retail, restaurants, or other franchise model type businesses
Demonstrated experience in effectively managing a high-volume remote team
• Thrive in a fast-paced start up like environment
• Excellent communication skills both vertically and cross-functionally to break down barriers for
the team
• Passion for working with talent to help them realize their dreams
• Great at accurately assessing talent
• Data driven and goal oriented with strong planning skills and analytical abilities, able to use data
to make decisions
• Passion for collaboration and driving for results
• Detail-oriented; able to effectively manage time
• Experience in performance assessment and coaching and growing talent
• Experience managing a team budget
• Experience with Salesforce a plus
• Innovative in terms of rethinking processes and approaches to improve result
