Senior Analyst

Our client is currently seeking a Senior Data Analyst for a full-time employee position that offers full remote flexibility. This person will be a leader within the business, working across cutting-edge analytic work that covers a wide variety of healthcare data projects. In joining, you will participate in all phases of the research design process, working alongside team members and senior leaders in the business. This opportunity also offers the ability to work closely with clients to fulfill deliverables.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business intelligence data to inform both business and product decisions
• Work with team to identify areas for increased clinical focus and provide solutions
• Assess overall cost impact of any proposed changes
• Support claims audit processes to ensure all fidelity of claims processing
• Conduct on-going refinement of the risk stratification surrounding claims processing
• Design, develop, interpret and present key internal business operational metrics reporting, maintaining a mindset focused on improving and increasing data intelligence leading to best operational practices
• Provide direction in preparing and/or reviewing reports for publication.
• Assist with planning tactical goals to achieve major improvements in data analytics capabilities over time
• Complies with all Federal and applicable State laws and company policies regarding privacy, confidentiality and security of health information and other designated information

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Information Technology, Mathematics Statistics, Business or other relevant field
• 6+ years’ experience analyzing healthcare data
• Prior experience producing reporting and providing analysis to organizational leadership
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
• Self-starter and may mentor/train other department members
• Strong communications skills
• Ability to work well both independently and as part of a multi-functional team
• Strong knowledge of analytic, technical and reporting tools. Tableau and SQL experience preferred
• SAS certification and experience preferred
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint production
