Job Title: Security Engineer

About the Company: Our Client is a global cybersecurity SaaS solutions provider, delivering a range of solutions that help their clients meet cybersecurity and compliance objectives.  

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and solve customer issues
• Implement change requests for managed security customers, providing 2nd & 3rd level troubleshooting support
• Point of technical contact and escalation for our prestigious customers
• Local representation with customers and Technical Account Management
• Effective and prompt communications with clients and internal staff/management
• Technical mentorship for security analyst team
• Strong knowledge and experience with routing and switching
• Generate and maintain operational process and training documentation
• Provide input to constantly improve our products and services to add value for our customers and shareholders
• Obtain and/or maintain up to date certifications for all products supported
• Analysis, recommendation and implementation of new technologies
• Technical Account Review Meetings with customers

Qualifications:

• Bachelors or equivalent experience; preferred Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• Minimum of 4 years hands-on experience with System, Network, or Security Administration including firewall, NGAV and Server      
• Minimum of 3+ years hands-on experience including certification Palo Alto Firewalls and at least 1 of the following; Fortinet, Cisco ASA & FirePower, Palo Alto, Juniper, Check Point, Azure, AWS, Google cloud
• Relevant certifications in System Administration, Networking, and/or Security
• Ability to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of IP networking, Routing & Switching, System Administration, and Information Security
• A “make it happen” attitude and approach plus very presentable to customers
• Must possess a high degree of intelligence, competence, maturity, adaptability, resilience, integrity and initiative
• Clear, logical and persuasive communication skills with an ability to work closely with executives and employees at all levels
• Excellent attention to detail
• Genuine passion for Information Security
