Sales Leader:
For an internationally award-winning, growing national marketing agency.
Ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of winning marketing strategies in a variety of industry verticals – and will have a proven track record selling new business from outbound C-Suite prospecting inside of a marketing or advertising agency, over 10 years of overall outbound prospecting experience, and over 5 years of successful sales leadership.
Position Overview
This position reports directly to the CEO and resides on the senior executive team, and as such, ideal candidates must be comfortable working fairly autonomously. While the Sales Leader must be able to consistently secure new prospect meetings independently, he or she will also lead a supporting sales team and pitch/close new opportunities they bring to the table. The Sales Leader is responsible for introducing new clients to the firm and shepherding them through the process of exploring a partnership. The Sales Leader will develop the right mix of strategies to build a pipeline that grows revenue in nine target markets. The ideal candidate will have a consultative, solution-focused philosophy to sales.
Required Skills
Strong experience setting winning marketing strategies for clients in a variety of industry verticals
Track record of successful and consistent outbound C-Suite engagement (middle market target is ideal but not required)
Deep sales leadership experience with a track record of building and inspiring high-performance sales teams
Sales plan development experience
Territory management experience
Complex problem-solving skills
Sales-presentation development and delivery experience
CRM knowledge and experience
Public-speaking chops
