Our home health client, who is a part of a Fortune 100 company, in Virginia is immediately hiring for multiple Respiratory Therapists across the state: Roanoke, Harrisonburg, Chesapeake, and Richmond, VA of all levels! All roles are brand new and a part of our client’s DME, IV and overall home health Mid-Atlantic expansion efforts.
 
 
MUST HAVE:
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
  • Ability to be on-call 24/7 (rotational in some locations w/coverage)
  • CRT certification and licensing in Virginia
  • Invasive and noninvasive ventilation experience /capability 
  • Active driver’s license 
  • COVID Vaccine 
 
NICE TO HAVE:
  • RRT Certification 
 
DAY TO DAY:
The Respiratory will provide necessary RT related care to home health members/patients within their territory; within a 65-mile radius of the local facility. A company car will be provided to the RT which they can have at their home while on call. The RT’s responsibilities & experience shall include, but are not limited; Sleep therapy, ventilators (invasive & noninvasive), ASV, deliver & set up necessary equipment, BiPAP ST, CPAP, design home exercise programs, discharge planning, aid in treatment plan, conduct & interpret tests (pulmonary function, other), documentation and follow up.
