Reputable manufacturer is seeking a Quality Manager for their manufacturing facility. The Quality Manager will have direct and indirect reports and will be responsible for motivating, coaching and leading their staff; resolving customer and supplier quality issues; completing quality reports and presentations; leading and initiating root cause analysis and corrective actions; maintaining and improving the quality management system; completing the quality validation process; monitoring and improving quality training; managing all quality assurance activities and giving regular quality presentations. The Quality Manager will be involved with the strategic development of the quality area, as well as IATF compliance. This position requires candidates to be on the manufacturing floor up to 25% of their day. Candidates should be able to develop teams, hold others accountable, be energetic and able to take ownership of projects, have good work history and enjoy floor presence. Requirements for the Quality Manager:
1. Bachelor’s degree is preferred
2. At least five years of similar manufacturing quality experience
3. Experience overseeing others
9. Microsoft Office, primarily Excel
Skills that are preferred, BUT NOT required:
1. Quality certifications
2. Automotive supplier experience
