What you will be doing:
-
Your primary role is to drive quality improvements by using quality tools and statistical methods
-
You will utilize metrology and statistical methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices
-
Reviews supplier Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and capability study information
-
Performs internal audits to ensure compliance to ISO requirements
-
Utilizing the concepts of probability, statistics, and data analysis (SPC, DOE, and process capability studies) to make decisions and solve problems
-
Identify and implement appropriate preventative and corrective actions along with root cause analysis and effectiveness review
-
Quality issues for new product introduction

Train staff on new quality concepts
What they are looking for:
-
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
-
3 to 6 years of Quality Engineering experience
-
Proven track record of developing and implementing process improvements
-
Proven problem-solving skills with and use of statistical analysis
-
ISO and internal audit experience
-
CQE Certification is preferred
-
Able to travel up to 5% to other Company or Supplier locations
-
Good communication, verbal and written, and computer skills
