Job Title: Pulmonologist/Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine
Location: Gadsden, Alabama
Salary: We are offering a competitive salary, based on MGMA guidelines, and an incentive bonus based on WRUVs. We will also provide medical education debt assistance and a residency/fellowship stipend (if applicable). In addition, we will cover relocation expenses, CME, vacation, health, dental, and vision benefits, licensure, dues, and subscriptions.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Pulmonologist/Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine to join our team in Gadsden, Alabama. This hospital-employed position will involve a mix of inpatient and outpatient work. This position can be either pulmonology or a mix of pulmonology and critical care, with potential for a 1:5 call.
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with pulmonary diseases
– Manage and coordinate care for critically ill patients in ICU
– Develop an individualized treatment plan for each patient
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
– Provide education to patients and families
– Monitor patient progress and ensure they are responding to treatment
– Perform endoscopy and bronchoscopy procedures, as needed

Qualifications:
– Completion of an accredited Pulmonology/Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine program
– Board certification/eligibility in Pulmonology and/or Critical Care Medicine
– Current and valid license to practice in the state of Alabama
– Ability to collaborate with other healthcare professionals
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience and Skills:
– At least three years of experience in Pulmonology/Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine
– Proven track record of successful patient outcomes
– Experience with endoscopy and bronchoscopy procedures
– Knowledge of relevant medical and legal standards
– Ability to use various medical equipment and instruments
– Proficiency with computer applications
