Job Title: Pulmonologist/Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine
Location: Dothan, Alabama
Salary: We offer a competitive salary that is based on MGMA guidelines, as well as a commencement bonus and incentive bonus based on work relative value units. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Pulmonologist/Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine physician who is passionate about providing the highest quality of care. This position involves managing inpatient care, diagnosing pulmonary diseases, and working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient care to pulmonary patients
- Accurately diagnose and treat pulmonary diseases
- Develop and implement treatment plans
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
- Communicate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
- Participate in research, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification/eligibility in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine (PCC)
- Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state of Alabama
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals
Experience and Skills:
- 2-3 years of experience in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine (PCC) preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
- Qualifies for J1 visa sponsorship
- Demonstrated commitment to patient care and satisfaction
- Proficiency with EMR systems
