Job Title: Pulmonologist/Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine
Location: Birmingham, Alabama

Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced or new graduate pulmonologist to join our pulmonary critical care medicine (PCC) team in Birmingham, Alabama. This is a well-established private practice with an inpatient/outpatient mix. The call will be 1:5 and additional sleep fellowship experience is a plus.
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Diagnose, treat, and monitor patient conditions
– Manage and coordinate patient care
– Provide patient and family education
– Develop and implement patient treatment plans
– Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
– Review patient tests and medical histories
– Consult with and refer patients to other specialists

Qualifications:
– MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
– Board certification or board eligibility in Pulmonology
– Valid state medical license
– Excellent communication, problem-solving, and patient care skills

Experience and Skills:
– Previous experience in Pulmonology/PCC preferred
– Ability to prioritize effectively and manage time efficiently
– Working knowledge of relevant medical procedures and protocols
– Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
