Job Title: Pulmonologist
Location: Foley, Alabama

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Pulmonologist to join our team at a hospital in Foley, Alabama. In this role, you will provide a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for patients suffering from pulmonary disease. You will be expected to work in a low volume rotational hospital call, with office space near the hospital, and a separate MICU and SICU and new bronch lab.
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Provide diagnosis, treatment, and prevention for diseases of the respiratory system
– Perform pulmonary consultations and procedures
– Evaluate and diagnose pulmonary disorders
– Make recommendations for treatment and follow-up
– Monitor and manage patient progress
– Provide education and support to patients and families
– Keep accurate medical records

Qualifications:
– Medical degree or equivalent
– Must be board-certified in pulmonary disease
– Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload

Experience and Skills:
– Minimum of 2 years of experience as a pulmonologist
– Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting
– Demonstrated ability to work with diverse patient populations
– Knowledge of medical technology and equipment
– Proficiency in the use of medical software
