Job Summary: We are seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care Nurse Practitioner to join our Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine (PCC) team in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The successful candidate will be an experienced Pulmonary Critical Care practitioner who can provide high-quality patient care. The position is conveniently located in a hospital-attached office and clinic, with call coverage of 1:2.

Roles and Responsibilities:

– Examine and diagnose patients with pulmonary critical care conditions

– Order and interpret diagnostic tests

– Develop treatment plans

– Provide patient education and counseling

– Monitor and document patient progress

– Consult with physicians regarding patient care

– Participate in hospital-related committees and activities

Qualifications:

– Must hold current Nurse Practitioner license

– Must have experience in Pulmonary Critical Care

– Must have valid BLS/ACLS certification

– Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Must have strong clinical assessment and problem-solving skills

– Must have a commitment to providing high quality patient care

Experience and Skills:

– At least one year of experience working as a licensed Nurse Practitioner

– Knowledge of Pulmonary Critical Care medicine

– Working knowledge of relevant computer software

– Ability to work both independently and in a team setting

– Ability to maintain accurate and detailed patient records

– Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
