Provides overall on-site leadership and management on a construction project site as it relates to Safety and Production.Three to ten years experience building Water Waste water treatment plants required. Responsible for working with the project manager and general superintendent to coordinate planning, scheduling, and construction of projects. Superintendent is considered the Company’s representative and main point of contact on the construction site.  The Superintendent handles the flow of communication between Client’s on-site representatives, on-site inspectors, subcontractors, craft employees, and personnel.  The Superintendent plans, coordinates, and supervises onsite functions including scheduling, material control, and day-to-day direction of field personnel.
 
• Competent in reading and understanding civil construction plans, drawings, and specifications

 

• Knowledge of project budgets and manage personnel and equipment efficiently

 

• Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field supervision, safety management, quality control and budgeting of all phases of civil construction

 

• Strong leadership and supervisory skills: assigning, directing and inspecting work, scheduling, rewarding or disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving conflicts on large and complex projects
