Job Overview: The Commercial HVAC/Plumbing Project Manager is pivotal to the successful completion of our large-scale commercial projects, ranging from $5 million to over $15 million. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of expertise, dedication, and hands-on experience, ensuring that projects are executed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

   • Oversee and manage HVAC and plumbing projects from start to finish.
   • Collaborate with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project progression.
   • Review and approve project plans, designs, and installations.

2. Budgeting & Cost Management:

   • Prepare detailed budgets and financial projections.
   • Monitor expenses to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and identify potential cost-saving opportunities.

3. Estimation & Scheduling:

   • Use estimating software to accurately project costs and resources.
   • Utilize scheduling software to develop, monitor, and adjust project timelines as necessary.

4. Team Leadership & Coordination:

   • Lead and coordinate project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
   • Liaise with various departments to ensure project goals, timelines, and standards are met.

5. Quality Control:

   • Ensure all HVAC and plumbing installations and systems adhere to industry standards, company guidelines, and client specifications.
   • Regularly review and inspect work to ensure quality benchmarks are met or exceeded.

Requirements:

• Must be a local resident of Virginia Beach, VA or willing to relocate.
• Demonstrable stable work history.
• Minimum of 5 years of commercial HVAC and plumbing project management experience.
• Familiarity with leading estimating and scheduling software.
• Proven track record of managing large-scale projects in the range of $5-15 million+.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficient in risk management and project reporting.
