Project Coordinator – Fiber Network Infrastructure
We are seeking motivated individuals to assist in our rapidly growing Fiber Infrastructure. In addition to day-to-day coordination skills, experience in utility infrastructure is preferred. As a Project Coordinator you will oversee project-level activities and material logistics for all projects for a given geographic territory, including but not limited to managing activities for installations of fiber network infrastructure. You will partner with Accounting, Planning and Project Management as well as our contractors to ensure assigned projects are completed on time and within budget. The Project Coordinator position holds a broad set of responsibilities that are adjusted to the individual’s strengths. The Project Coordinator will be involved in all aspects of the business. Duties and Responsibilities:
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to those listed below:
Actively engage with internal and external resources on all project-level activities with internal to meet deadlines within budget and within specification throughout entire expansion effort.
Ensure accurate reporting and forecasting of project timelines, resources, and capital expenditures by partnering and communicating with internal teams.
Be accountable for material logistics and issuance of materials to and from internal and external resources.
Purchase and coordinate delivery of materials and other resources to various locations across 5 states.
Knowledgeable in utility industry specifications and fiber network builds is preferred.
Manage and monitor budgeting, scheduling, and scoping tasks.
Daily and weekly reporting on project milestones and updates
Ability to travel to the field on an as needed basis.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
Previous Procurement, Project Management or other logistics experience in utility construction preferred.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to achieve results effectively and professionally.
General knowledge and understanding of inside/outside plant fiber optic network infrastructures
Effective time management with the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, set priorities, and meet deadlines
Computer Skills:
MS Office software, Great Plains software, Internet software, e-mail, order processing, inventory, and database software.
