Production Supervisor – 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shifts Available 
Findlay, Ohio

What if you could have….a three day weekend every third weekend (for 1st and 3rd shift), paid overtime, benefits day one of employment and oversee a smooth running area of the plant! 
  • Oversee a smooth running area of the plant and be trained by other supervisors that have an average tenure of 16 years
  • Currently you will average two weekend days a month and you will have a three day weekend every third weekend (This is available for 1st and 3rd shifts only)
  • Benefits will be available day one of employment; there isn’t a waiting period
  • The plant is investing 60M in their manufacturing area
  • YOU will average 40-45 hours a week and receive time in a half over 40 hours worked
 
1st shift hours:
Two weeks you will work Monday-Friday, 6 a.m. to 2:10 p.m. 
The third week you will work Monday-Friday, 6 a.m. to 4:10 p.m. and will have a three day weekend
You will average two weekend days per month 
 
2nd shift hours:
Monday-Friday 2 p.m. to 10:10 p.m. 
 
3rd shift hours:
Two weeks you will work Sunday-Thursday night, 10 p.m. to 6:10 a.m.
The third week you will work Sunday-Wednesday night, 8 p.m. to 6:10 a.m. and will have a three day weekend
You will average two weekend days per month 
Leading tier I automotive supplier is seeking a shift Production Supervisor for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift (three openings) to oversee production in a performing, smooth running area of the plant.  As the Production Supervisor, you will report to an Assistant Manager.   Daily you will be responsible for the following tasks in a specific area of the plant:
  • Meeting and tracking production requirements and metrics
  • Training, coaching, mentoring and evaluating the hourly workforce
  • Ensuring shift safety, quality and delivery goals are met
  • Assisting with identifying process improvements 
  • Leading the shift start-up meeting and attending other meetings as needed 
  • Following the production schedule and making modifications as needed 
  • Reviewing and confirming shift paperwork and production numbers 
  • Communicating with 1st and 2nd shift production supervisors at shift change 
  • Confirming time sheets, vacation and time off within the timekeeping system 
  • Conducting reviews on line leaders and associates 
  • Ensuring that training is completed for new and current staff
  • Other duties as directed by management 
 
This is a hands-on position that requires qualified candidates to be on the production floor 100% of their day. Candidates should enjoy leading others and holding people accountable, have attention to detail, work well within a team environment and have excellent communication skills.  It will be required to train on day shift prior to moving to your assigned shift.  The company offers EXCELLENT medical benefits (including dental and vision) available day one of employment, short-term and long-term disability, 401K (50% up to 6%), paid holidays and vacations, tuition reimbursement, life and wellness plan.

REQUIREMENTS for the Production Supervisor:
1. Minimum of a high school diploma or GED 
2. Experience overseeing others in a manufacturing environment 

3. Experience overseeing at least 10-15 people at a time 
4. Microsoft Office experience, including BASIC Excel skills 

Skills preferred but NOT required:
1. Production scheduling 
2. ERP experience 
3. Automotive supplier experience 

4. Non-union supervision 
5. Experience with continuous improvement initiatives
