Great opportunity to join an expanding Global Innovation and Technology Team, as the Lead Process Technology Engineer. Providing the strategic interface between manufacturing, product/ process technology, and the collaborative teams initiatives, this role requires significant expertise in polymer performance/ characterization as well as fiber process development technology. 

 

–Support the development and improvement of the technology for fiber production.

–Develop new or improve existing process technology to continuously improve (output, efficiency, and quality) of production/ products.

–Improve and develop existing production technology, linking product technology to process technology, improving performance including quality, consistency, capacity and/or manufacturing cost and product performance.

–Optimize plant operations and processes of existing fiber technology & support new technologies and products.

–Manage and coordinate global technology optimizations and new technology development projects. 
 
 
Experience:
 
–PHD or MS in Chemical Engineering with 5+ years’ experience as Process Development Engineer/ Technology Innovator
 
–Polymer process production/ optimization/ technology development expertise
 
–Process Design/ equipment modification, analysis, and optimization
 
–Pilot scale/ modeling tool skills
