Your Role with the Company

In this position, you’ll be responsible for providing leadership in the development of cutting-edge test and monitoring products used in the power industry. Your work will be a mix of hands-on software development (primarily C++) and in-the-trenches leadership in the development of embedded software for new products and features for next-gen instruments.  You will be given considerable latitude in determining the technical objectives of assignments with the cooperation of development managers.

Background Profile

  • Expertise in embedded Linux development, with strong skills in C++.
  • 15+ years of experience (5+ years as a lead) in the development of embedded software for high-voltage equipment (utility power, industrial systems, etc.).  
  • Exposure to a variety of embedded system communication protocols (I2C, SPI, TCP,IP, VLAN, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of Direct Memory Access (DMA)
  • This is a client-facing position, so communication and presentation skills are critical
  • BS in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering

 

Salary Range: $165,000-185,000/year, plus bonus (between $10-12K)

 

Type: Direct-Hire

Travel: Minimal (less than 5%)

Relocation Assistance: Subject to review
