• A Journeyman’s card or four plus years of plastic injection mold toolmaking experience is required
• One plus years of Mastercam experience is required
• Pay is up to $26 to $36 hourly

This full-time, permanent Plastic Injection Mold Toolmaker at a smaller, diverse manufacturer that has so much business they are turning away work. Their niche is having tighter tolerances. They utilize newer, higher end Makino equipment. The working environment is nice, well-lit and temperature-controlled environment. The company treats their employees very well and offers flex scheduling. The team environment is very collaborative and no one is left by themselves to struggle.

This is a new position available due to growth. The company will support toolmakers getting their Journeyman’s card. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate will include the following:

• Utilizing with Mastercam for plastic injection mold toolmaking
• Working on new plastic injection mold builds and repair work
• Working collaboratively with other toolmakers because the projects are just too large
• Working with old craftsmanship principles with the newest technology

The background of the successful candidate must include the following to be considered for this position:

• A Journeyman’s card or at least four years of plastic injection mold toolmaking experience
• One or more years of Mastercam experience
• Possess a good understanding of the construction and concept of plastic injection molds
• Possess the ability to pass a criminal background check
• A solid work history
• A US citizen or possess a green card
• A residence within 45 minutes
