Plant Manager

The Plant Manager leads, directs, manages and is accountable for all aspects of production in this manufacturing plant. Areas of direct responsibility include manufacturing planning, scheduling, materials management, safety, quality adherence, processing, and budget management. Works collaboratively with all departments, directly and indirectly to optimize the facility’s production performance.

• Create and lead an environment that ensures a safe working environment.
• Analyze issues and work with the management team to develop and implement solutions.
• Develop and motivate staff & associates to ensure and maintain an effective operation.
• Perform capacity planning to ensure effective equipment and labor utilization.
• Maintain proper employment levels through selecting, interviewing, and training of personnel.
• Maximize profitability of the plant.
• Actively participate in cost control and inventory reduction initiatives.
• Establish and manage activities to meet plant goals and objectives. 

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business or related discipline.
• Seven or more years of progressive responsibility including P&L management.  
• Strong knowledge of technical and supply chain management.
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing.
• High-level leadership and decision-making skills.
• Excellent customer service; solution driven mindset.
