Pediatric LPN, RN

Responsibilities:
Triage “walk-in” patients
Handle telephone inquiries/triage
Prepare patients for physician(s) to assess
Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
Communicate with collaborating physicians and specialists regarding patient care
Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
Maintain accurate patient medical records
Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
Take vital signs
Administer Injections, including vaccines
Administer EKGs
Administer nebulizer treatments and other office procedures
Track patient flow, making sure doctor(s) is (are) running on time
Ensure pertinent results/reports are in patients’ charts at time of visit
Schedule sick visits
Ensures correct supply stock levels
Reorders supplies as they diminish
Filing
Qualifications:
Valid RN or LPN license
Previous medical experience a plus, pediatrics preferred
Familiarity with medical software and equipment
Ability to build rapport with patients
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Able to commit for a minimum of three years
