Parts and Service Coordinator

The Parts & Service Coordinator is responsible for providing customer service to our internal and external customers for placement of parts and service requests. This includes co-ordination and completion of the quote, order, sale, and shipment of parts, as well as service assignments. Providing these services in an effective and efficient manner will ensure that customers are kept up to date on job order status and parts and service are delivered in a timely manner.

Detailed Job Description:

Respond to and process requests from customers by answering phone calls and emails
Gather customer information such as machine model, serial number, part number, etc. to  
ensure accurate ordering of parts
Research customer requests to identify correct solution and provide quotes
Perform necessary inquiries to expedite part orders if needed
Creates and submits purchase requisitions to Accounting Department
Follow up open part orders, as well as any discrepancies with missed/inaccurate part
shipments
Work with vendors on credits and invoices
Ships product utilizing correct packing procedures to avoid damage to shipment
Provide consistent timely updates to service technicians and customers in a proactive manner
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Experience in purchasing and/or scheduling/dispatch preferred
Comfortable sitting for an extended period of time
Working on-site 8 am – 5 pm M-F
