One of the largest commercial HVAC sales rep organizations in the Southeast is growing their Outside Sales and Engineering Support.  The company has open Outside Sales positions in Atlanta and Birmingham.  Technical Sales Support in Atlanta, Raleigh and Memphis

You will be joining a company with a 50-year reputation for expert equipment sales & support

Company is an ESOP (Employee-owned stock option plan) and they have great benefits including excellent health benefits and a 401k.  Being an ESOP base compensation is a little lower but total earning potential is excellent. 

Mechanical Engineers with 0 to 5 years of engineering experience that are looking for a career in mechanical engineering SALES, this company would be the ideal pathway.

Individuals will sell to contractors, institutional & government facilities, industrial facilities, wholesalers, and consulting engineers.

Also, this is a career not a job.  Individuals that work for this company have an average tenure of ~9 years.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all sales related activities for assigned accounts. 
• Work with customers to provide product quotation and after sales service.
• Influence job specifications and systems specifications.
• Perform or review job take-offs, quotations and price levels for assigned areas/accounts.
• Perform job take-offs as requested by inside sales personnel,
• Obtain & report job/quotation follow up information in a timely manner.
• Seek to close open jobs/quotations in a timely manner.
• Provide design and application assistance.
• Be active in at least one professional organization.
• Present educational and product seminars.
• Continually attend product training and system application classes at factories and company locations.
• Assist other company personnel in sales, marketing, and engineering as needed.
• Assist management in meeting factory sales quotas and product promotions.
• Performs other duties as requested.

Requirements:

·College degree in Engineering or Technology

·Mechanical systems aptitude

·Hands on experience with large HVAC / Building Automation Systems

• Understanding hydronic & steam systems (Plus)

·Sales experience

·Excellent written and oral communication

·Strong computer skills

·Excellent time management
