Job Title: Orthopedic Surgeon
 
Location: Las Cruces, NM
 
Salary: This position offers a competitive salary and includes an attractive benefits package. In addition, there is a 100K commencement bonus, production incentive bonus, CME allowance, and potential for medical education debt assistance up to $150K. Relocation assistance and visa support may also be available.
 
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Orthopedic Surgeon to join an established group in Las Cruces, NM. The ideal candidate will be board-certified/board-eligible, and have a practice mix of general orthopedics and total joints. The service area has a population of 250-300,000. Anticipated call will be 1:7.
 
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Provide comprehensive orthopedic care to patients
– Perform joint replacements and other orthopedic surgeries
– Analyze and diagnose orthopedic problems
– Develop and implement treatment plans
– Prescribe medications
– Provide support to patients and their families
 
Qualifications: 
 
– Board-certified/board-eligible in orthopedic surgery
– Valid state medical license
– Experience in general orthopedics and total joints
– Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
– Knowledge of relevant medical regulations
 
Experience and Skills:
 
– Experience in orthopedic surgery
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Ability to remain calm in stressful situations
– Ability to make sound decisions
– Computer proficient
