We are seeking an experienced Commercial Water Well Pump Operations Manager to join a rapidly growing and very profitable water services provider with a patent-protected technology that is revolutionary within the industry. As an Operations Manager, you are responsible for the total scope of a project, that includes scheduling, coordinating activities and resources, and supporting field personnel at commercial and municipal locations for well rehabilitation, well development, pump installs, and troubleshooting.

Essential Job Functions include:  

  • Complete weekly schedule for all field personnel, equipment, tools, and consumables.
  • Maintain master project schedule for Operations, Engineers, Project Managers, and Procurement.
  • Create field work orders that provide written and verbal scope of work for field service personnel, job requirements, and corresponding schedules.
  • Communicate with customers about the project schedule and change orders as needed.
  • Liaison with field service personnel for technical support and troubleshoot problems arising from unexpected site issues.
  • Monitor inventory and track usage on each project for supplies, tools, and equipment. Source and purchase inventory restock.
  • Collect and review paperwork and forms from the crew that includes daily reports, pump test data sheets, and logs.

Qualifications include:  

  • 5+ years of experience with commercial and municipal water wells, well drilling, well rehabilitation, and pump mechanical repairs.
  • 2+ years of leadership responsibilities as a field superintendent.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of wells, vertical turbine pumps, submersible pumps, electricity, well rehabilitation, and chemicals.
  • Ability to train new field service personnel and subcontractors.
  • Capable of effective communication with customers and ability to represent the company in a professional manner.
  • Knowledge of safety hazards and dangers associated with projects.
  • Demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver’s license with CDL, OSHA certifications, and certified well driller (CWD) license or ability to obtain one.
