Job Title: Oncologist/Medical
Location: Poplar Bluff, Missouri
Salary: This position is an employed role with a competitive salary and productivity incentives. A commencement bonus of up to $100,000 is available, as well as medical education debt assistance and a potential stipend for the remainder of training. Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Oncologist/Medical to join our team in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. This position requires a subject matter expert who is able to approach the task with a critical mindset and anticipate and address any potential issues or uncertainties. The successful candidate will be responsible for office and clinic duties, including call and rounds on inpatient rooms as well as outpatient clinics.
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Administering medical care to patients with various forms of cancer
– Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests to evaluate patient conditions
– Developing individualized treatment plans for each patient
– Performing follow-up assessments on patients
– Referring patients to other healthcare professionals as needed
– Educating patients and family members about cancer diagnosis and treatment

Qualifications:
– MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
– Board certification and/or board eligibility in Medical Oncology
– Valid medical license in the state of Missouri
– Demonstrated knowledge and experience in oncology
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
– Ability to work cooperatively with a multidisciplinary team

Experience and Skills:
– At least 3 years of experience as an Oncologist/Medical
– Comprehensive knowledge of oncology and cancer treatments
– Ability to think critically and make sound clinical decisions
– Clinical competence in the management of cancer
– Ability to provide patient care in an outpatient setting
– Comprehensive knowledge of oncology and cancer treatments
