Occupational Health Nurse

This is a comprehensive role focused on promoting and restoring health, preventing illness and injury, and managing cases related to disability and Workers’ Compensation.  

Responsibilities:

• Health Promotion and Restoration: Oversee health initiatives, including health fairs and blood lead management.
• Emergency Treatment: Provide emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Policy Management: Maintain and implement health services policies and procedures.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local health regulations.
• Medical Surveillance: Administer medical surveillance and biological monitoring according to OSHA Lead standards.
• Counseling: Coordinate intervention counseling for employees regarding blood-lead levels.

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nursing License in the relevant state.
• Minimum 5 years of professional nursing experience, with at least 2 years in Occupational Health or Nursing Management.
• Blood Draw Experience.

Preferred:

• Knowledge and experience with Worker’s Compensation.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Base Salary: $75,000 to $95,000.
• Full-time with full benefits.
