Job Title: Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OBGYN)
Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Salary: We offer a comprehensive financial package that includes a competitive salary, medical education debt assistance, fellowship stipend (if applicable), and relocation expenses. A 12 month salary subsidy is also available to support the incoming physician.
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced obstetrician/gynecologist (OBGYN) with the option of seeking a new grad. The practice is located on a hospital campus and offers a mix of IP/OP care. The ideal candidate should have an interest in robotic surgery and experience in the Da Vinci Surgical System is preferred, but not required. Shared call coverage is usually 1:4.
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Provide comprehensive medical and surgical care for women
– Diagnose and treat female reproductive health issues
– Perform minor and major gynecological surgeries
– Perform obstetric procedures as needed
– Monitor and assess patients during pregnancy
– Educate and counsel patients
– Collaborate with other medical staff
– Diagnose and treat female reproductive health issues

Qualifications:
– MD/DO degree from an accredited medical school
– Licensed to practice medicine in Alabama
– Board Certified/Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBG)
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively in a team

Experience and Skills:
– Prior experience in obstetrics and gynecology
– General knowledge of female reproductive health
– Ability to diagnose and treat complex conditions
– Proficiency in minor and major gynecological surgeries
– Thorough understanding of post-operative care
– Robotic surgery experience is preferred
