We are seeking a board certified/board-eligible Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for a direct hire position for a Mental Health & Wellness Center managing adult and/or child psychiatric services.
The candidate will work as a physician extender to deliver comprehensive patient care in an outpatient setting. This person will work in collaboration with Physicians and other Nurse Practitioners to assess, diagnose and develop a plan of care in accordance with practice protocols. This person will be responsible for obtaining complete medical histories and performing physical examinations in the Child & Family Services and/or Adult Services setting, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, completing medication management and making referrals for specialty consultations and care.
Prior experience is not required as they welcome new grads.
The Nurse Practitioner will spend time in a clinic setting with the opportunity of encompassing a hybrid Tele-psych model, to see new and established patients with the support of administration.
