Job Title: Neurologist
Location: Palmer, Alaska

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Neurologist to join our well-established practice in Palmer, Alaska. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive care for patients with a variety of neurological conditions, such as stroke and transient ischemic attack, seizure and epilepsy, TBI, peripheral neuropathy, radiculopathy and myelopathy, and neuromuscular disorders. Advanced practitioner and staff are available to assist with the practice.
Roles and Responsibilities:
– Assess and diagnose neurological conditions with the use of EMG, EEG, and sleep studies
– Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication and lifestyle changes
– Monitor patient progress and modify treatments as needed
– Educate patients and their family members on neurological conditions and treatments
– Provide ongoing support and care to patients
– Keep accurate records

Qualifications:
– MD or DO degree
– Medical license in Alaska
– Board certification in Neurology
– Demonstrated clinical experience in Neurology
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Medical license in Alaska

Experience and Skills:
– Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a healthcare team
