Neuro-Hospitalist

Job Summary:

We are seeking two neurohospitalists to join us in the growth and development of a brand new service line. This is a unique opportunity to spearhead a cutting-edge program, and we seek board certified or board eligible candidates with fellowship training in vascular neurology or experience with stroke. The successful candidate will work on a 7 on / 7 off schedule.

Roles and Responsibilities:

·        Provide exceptional patient care

·        Manage and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals

·        Participate in quality management initiatives

·        Develop and maintain relationships with referring physicians

·        Ensure adherence to established protocols and policies

·        Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

·        Must be board certified or board eligible in neurology

·        Fellowship training by an accredited program in vascular neurology or have stroke experience

·        Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·        Must demonstrate strong clinical/professional judgment and critical thinking skills

Experience and Skills:

·        Must have experience in inpatient neurology

·        Must be able to work collaboratively with colleagues

·        Must have a strong commitment to patient safety and quality care

·        Must have excellent organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
