National Building Controls HVAC Accounts Manager
  • Pay is $100,000 to $115,000 guaranteed for the right person – commission is uncapped

This is a full-time, permanent National Building Controls HVAC Accounts Manager career opportunity at debt-free industrial controls manufacturer that has never had a layoff. Sales have consistently grown between three to five percent annually. Whether it is for one component or an entire system; all hardware design, software development and manufacturing is done at the Madison area location. The company also provides Cloud services to customers.
 
The environment is flexible, casual and collaborative. Work is challenging and rewarding. Employees gain exposure to the growing product line and the entire product life cycle. Employees are able to move to different areas of the company if that is of interest. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should be as follows:
  • Learning the industrial controls technical product line
  • Working with large, national accounts
  • Making presentations and selling to multiple decisionmakers at the same time
  • Attending trade shows
  • Working in the Madison, Wisconsin area office
  • Traveling overnight up to four days at a time as needed to attend tradeshows and to meet with prospects and customers
 
The background of successful candidates must include the following:
  • Five years of building controls or HVAC experience is required
  • Five years of corporate sales experience is required
  • Possess the ability to get a passport and travel throughout the United States and Canada as needed
  • Possess an understanding or building controls
  • A solid work history
  • A US citizen or possess a green card
  • A residence within 45 minutes
