As Regional Sales Manager you will be assigned a large Midwest region territory (10 states). Due to an upcoming retirement you will have well-established accounts as well as build your own book of business.
This is fully remote position and will be provided with a company car, gas and maintenance card, laptop computer, cell phone and compensated for other approved expenses (office equipment and services), all reasonable travel expenses and lodging are also compensated. You will be compensated primarily by a base salary with training in Minnesota.
Ideal sales background must be within one of these industries:
Band saw blade manufacturers and distributors – Industrial Supply Distributors – Machine Center Sales/Distribution (lathes, mills, vertical and horizontal milling machines) – Industrial Equipment Manufacturers i.e., Drills, iron workers, brakes, presses, etc.
In this role you will be responsible to grow sales of industrial products (band saw machines, blades and coolant supplies), establishing a distribution network in the Midwest region, prospecting and negotiating products and service contract sales opportunities working with a distribution channel, as well as making joint sales calls with the distributor reps and liaise with end-user national accounts. This position will be looked upon as a Subject Matter Expert, proficient in marketing insights and feedback, provide hands-on application of the products, productivity testing and will be provided training with the outgoing sales manager who is preparing for retirement.
Strong consideration will be given to a sales professional with a background in other metal process equipment/tooling manufacturing.
A professional and positive attitude is paramount as you will work amongst a driven team with “can do” attitudes.
