  • Two or more years of mechanical CAD machine design experience as well as a degree in mechanical engineering is required to be considered
  • Pay is up to $85,000 for an ideal candidate
  • Must be a United States citizen or Green Card holder
  • No remote or hybrid as this is an onsite position

This full time, permanent Mechanical Engineering 3D SolidWorks Machine Designer is at a manufacturer that exports the majority of their products that are manufactured here in southeast Wisconsin, This company does not send manufacturing work and jobs overseas. They have a great product line and have experienced consistent 20% to 25% sales growth. The work is challenging and they work with great technology. Employees are valued and really like working there. The company is located in a recently built manufacturing facility.

 

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:

  • Learning the company products
  • Performing engineering design for complete systems in SolidWorks
  • Performing engineering documentation
  • Creating assembly drawings
  • Supporting the production of designed products
  • Traveling domestically approximately once per year

 

The background of the successful candidates should include the following:
  • Three years of mechanical CAD machine design experience
  • A degree in mechanical engineering
  • Possess a solid work history
  • Being a US citizen or green card holder
  • Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
